miu miu, Miu Miu, MIU MIU
Every ones talking about it, people are wearing it, bloggers are blogging it. All of this has encouraged me to write about Miu Miu's beautiful Spring/Summer '10 collection! I love the bold but dainty printed fabric on the simple looking but detailed shapes making a perfect collection. The mixture of diamante encrusted panelling with the cute, playful printed silk is really quite delightful. I only wish I was an adult and had the money to spend on the whole package; shoes and outfit!!! Not only are the clothes so good but the shoes are possibly even better. I also really like the chunky plaits and eye makeup the models had on the catwalk.

Frock Me with TK Maxx
(Three photos from the Alexander Wang RTW Spring/Summer '10 catwalk show. This collection fits in with the americana theme in Frock Me with TK Maxx)
I just watched four episodes of Frock Me with TK Maxx on 4od because on sunday, a few weekends ago I turned the telly on and found this programme on Channel 4 and suddenly I became a fan. With Alexa Chung and Henry Holland presenting it, the prgramme is quite fun. On every episode Gemma Cairney goes to a city and picks out 2 students she thinks are trendy. The students go head-to-head to try and create a look with the episodes theme having only £100 to spend. They have to borrow something from a friend and blag an item from a shop. I think the blagging bit is kinda unreal because in reality you couldn't go into a shop and ask to take the item for free but I suppose because its on TV and they had a cameraman walking around with them, shops wouldn't mind giving away something. On their second episode they had a theme of americana, meaning things like denim, cowboy boots, american flag print and crop tops. They talked about Alexander Wang's RTW Spring/Summer '10 collection which fits in with their americana theme (see in photo above).
